Complete cat care with love <3

Hi cat owners! I'm Derin. I did my bachelor's in Art History at Leiden University and am now doing my master's in Museum Studies at the University of Amsterdam. I love cold weather, the smell of coffee and cinnamon at 7am, vividly hallucinating with my books, smelling the spot behind the ears of a cat and solo traveling.

I've owned cats for now more than 10 years. In total my parents and I had three cats in our care and we are delighted to still be together with two of them. As a family with cats, we get the complete package with the two: a fluffy cuddle lover and a gothic distanced-affection giver. What has always amazed me about cats is that they teach us a different way of looking at things. Their company is the supreme of all - being together while doing our own things. The smallest joy or excitement they feel literally makes my day.

I do catsitting not for the payment (also why I ask for the minimum price possible on the app) but because after few years living without cats, I realised that I really miss their company. I never mind going the extra mile if it’s in the best interest of them. Your cats’ happiness, comfort and health is what’s most important.

As part of spoiling your little companions, I will be sending you daily photos and videos (of them in all funny and adorable angles) and we can do video calls. As all cats are unique, I always make sure to match the love language of each cat I am taking care of. I will comb them (unless they don’t enjoy it), keep their water fresh, and ensure good hygiene (washing food and water bowls daily, vacuuming, clean litter box) while keeping them entertained. They will definitely not miss you, in a very good way! Besides giving the most love and comfort to your beloved one, I am also up to take care of other housesitting tasks such as watering your plants or picking up your posts each day.
