If I’m in your home, I’m respectful of your space and make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions carefully, keep things clean and tidy, and send regular updates so you know how your furry friend is doing. No matter where I care for them, I treat every pet like my own with patience and affection.

It’s really helpful to know your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs they might have. For example: – Do they have any allergies, medical conditions, or medications? – How do they react to other dogs, people, or new environments? – Are there any behaviors I should be aware of (e.g. chewing, separation anxiety, barking)? – What are their favorite activities, and what comforts them when they’re nervous? The more I know ahead of time, the better I can care for your pet just like you would.

It really depends on what your pet enjoys! I love going for walks, playing fetch, or just having a good cuddle session if they’re more low-key. I also like adding a bit of mental stimulation with training game, especially if they like learning new tricks. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, engaged, and loved while you're away.

Your dog or cat will be in safe, loving hands and get all my attention. I'm Sarah and I'm from France and my partner Niels is dutch. We live in a quiet flat in Haarlem without kids or other pets, so it’s a calm space where your pet can feel relaxed and at home. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have looked after dogs and cats since I was a kid. Building trust with them means a lot to me, and I know it takes time, patience, and consistency. I really enjoy hanging out with animals playing, cuddling, going for walks, and making sure they feel happy and safe. I stick to the same rules and routines you’ve set, so your pet stays comfortable and everything feels familiar. Dogs and cats need someone they can trust and someone you can trust too. I’d love to be that person for you and your furry friend.

This is our first time using Rover and we were extremely pleased with Sarah's support. She is extremely friendly, clearly loves animals and was very communicative every day on how our cat, and what she, was doing (eg when she arrived, when she left etc). Highly recommended.

Sarah is a great pet sitter, my cats loved her. She communicates well, sends pictures and takes good care of the cats. I do highly recommend her!
I asked Sarah to take care of my cat first for a weekend and then for a couple of days and it went perfectly. Jasper can be a bit grumpy and has his own character but Sarah is very affectionate and I can tell he likes her. I honestly have nothing to add, I'll definitely will ask her again to babysit Jasper next time I'm out of town. And she's also a very sweet person so that's a plus !
