I’m a German au pair currently living in Amsterdam, caring for two children during the week. Outside of those hours, I have flexible availability and would love to focus on cat sitting—both to save up for university and because I genuinely enjoy caring for cats. I have hands-on experience looking after cats in different settings. I regularly feed and care for my neighbor’s cat when they are on holiday, and I’ve also previously worked as an au pair in a household with a cat, where I was responsible for daily care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, and keeping the cat company. Growing up, my family couldn’t have dogs or cats due to my dad’s allergy to animal dander, but I did have pets such as budgies. This taught me responsibility and attentiveness to animals’ needs from a young age and made me especially appreciative of every opportunity to care for cats now. I’m calm, patient, and respectful of cats’ individual personalities. Whether your cat is playful or more independent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
