I recently received a one-year full-time contract which allows for general remote working with the occasional day or afternoon in the office. This means that I can work from your home, spend time with your pet(s) and generally remain accessible throughout the day for anything and everything they might need. I have an e-bike that allows me to quickly zoom around the city in case personal errands or appointments are in my calendar. This is always stated up front before booking.

I am very aware that all animals are different in personality, preferences, and needs. I also know that all owners have different preferences, so I will make sure to ask about rules and expectations from the beginning. I am also familiar with dog crating and training and am happy to continue their training or commands practice. Considering I am a lover of the outdoors, I am happy to run or walk your dog around Den Haag so they are thoroughly exhausted and quiet when you get home 😊

Let me know if your pet has a special needs - either medical or behavioral - that I need to attend to. This could be food-related or keeping them away from other pets or people, or even just continuing your training routine. I am happy to accommodate them so they enjoy their time with me as much as possible. If their care is intense or extensive (requiring near constant supervision or presence), then your pet may fall under the category of "Constant Care" which is explained in my profile. I am happy to discuss this further!
Een typische dag
For my own cat, we usually do a combination of couch cuddles, playing (he loves to be chased and to chase his laser light and feather toys), 15 minutes of brushing and a quick health examination to make sure all is well. For dogs, outdoor walks and playtime in Scheveningse Bosjes or Haagse Bosjes is always perfect, as well as walking them to the beach (Kijkduin or nearby) for exercise and play among the dunes and sand (if time and weather allows).

I have been around cats since I was born and have over 20 years of experience assisting with their care, medical needs, and development. I personally have had 7 cats throughout my life (all strays or rescues). I also spent many childhood and early adult weekends helping my grandparents care for their 20+ indoor and outdoor rescue cats. This included grooming, play time, medication, special diets, and general cuddles + kisses. My all time favorite activity is to sit on the couch with a good book, a cup of tea, and a cat (or cats) on my lap 😊 I am especially experienced with medical issues, as my own cat who is FIV+ and has been through bladder stones, life-threatening anemia, FVR and FHV-1, and himself is a rescue that needed rehabilitation. I have also assisted with my family cats who have had cancer (in remission), kidney issues requiring weekly at-home IVs, allergy medication, daily teeth cleaning, and other issues. I am also familiar with the medical centers around Den Haag and have access to a car if there was any reason your pet may need to go to the veterinarian or emergency center.

Breanna is exceptional. She was very meticulous with my cats during a heat wave. She found ways to make them more comfortable and carefully observed their behavior so she could adapt to their needs. I was surprised by the level of care she provided, even though I had not given her many instructions. I would highly recommend her.
I highly recommend Breanna! She was incredibly methodical in carrying out all tasks and took the time to ask thorough questions about my cats' care instructions before I left. I was so impressed by her experience—she immediately understood how to handle different personalities, giving my shy cats their space while making sure the social and needy ones got tons of love and attention. On top of that, she was very punctual, communicated perfectly, and sent plenty of photos and updates. 5/5 stars!
Breanna heeft heel goed voor mijn kat gezorgd terwijl ik weg was. De communicatie verliep makkelijk, prettig en was altijd heel gedetailleerd, wat mij veel rust gaf tijdens mijn reis. Ik waardeerde de updates en foto’s enorm, en het was duidelijk dat mijn kat blij was en goed verzorgd werd. Breanna is betrouwbaar, oplettend en prettig in de communicatie. Ik zou haar zeker opnieuw boeken.
Breanna was geweldig! Onze katten zijn helemaal verwend door Breanna doordat ze dagelijks heel veel op schoot mochten! We werden elke dag op de hoogte gehouden door leuke foto’s en als iets aan de hand was werden we meteen geïnformeerd. Communicatie verliep vlekkeloos en Breanna is heel sympathiek. We zouden haar zo weer vragen om op te passen op onze katten!
