Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work four days a week, usually Sunday to Wednesday from 10:20 to 21:30, so I am available mornings, evenings, nights, and full days on my days off. Before work, I make sure cats are fed, comfortable, and receive attention and playtime. After work, I spend quality time with them again, making sure they feel cared for and not lonely. Cats are generally independent animals, so my schedule works well for most of them, especially those who enjoy having company in the mornings and evenings while relaxing during the day.

I believe that every cat feels safest and happiest in a calm, familiar, and respectful environment. Since I cannot host pets in my own home at the moment, I care for cats in the owner’s home, where they can stay comfortable with their usual routine, smells, and safe spaces. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, medication, playtime, grooming, and any special needs or boundaries. I understand that cats can be sensitive to changes, so I try to create a peaceful atmosphere and approach each cat patiently and gently, depending on their personality. I also keep the home clean and tidy, including litter box maintenance and making sure the cat has fresh water, food, and attention every day. Trust is very important to me. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own.

Hello, my name is Alina, and I am a refugee from Ukraine currently living in Amsterdam. I have been living here for 4 years and have more than 3 years of experience caring for animals, especially cats. My love for animals is truly deep, and although I cannot have pets of my own at the moment, I share this love by donating 10% of my earnings to animal shelters in Ukraine. I am empathetic, calm, kind, and responsible. I understand that every cat has its own personality, boundaries, habits, and needs. I enjoy building trust with them at their own pace and always respect cats who prefer independence and personal space. I have no harmful habits and enjoy quiet evenings at home, solving puzzles or building LEGO sets. Since I am still building my life in the Netherlands, I cannot host pets in my own home yet, but I am happy to stay in your home and make sure your cat feels safe and comfortable in its familiar environment. I work in a gift shop with funny ducks, and my work schedule is usually Sunday to Wednesday from 10:20 to 21:30. Because of this, I am best suited for cats who are comfortable spending part of the day alone, while still receiving plenty of care, attention, and companionship before and after work. I grew up with cats in my childhood and have experience caring for cats with different temperaments and needs. I am attentive, patient, and always eager to learn more about animal care.
