Cat lover in central/west Amsterdam

Hi, I’m Jamie and I am a big animal lover, but especially cats. I moved to Amsterdam in April 2025 and unfortunately my apartment doesn’t allow pets, so I would love to take care of yours as a way of spending time with them! I work from home as a freelance graphic designer so my schedule is very flexible.

I grew up with cats and also volunteered at an animal shelter and cat sit for many of my friends over the years. I tend to have a way with cats, even those who are shy or feisty around new people, so I am glad I can be a safe person to leave your pet with. I’ve even been flown out to watch someone’s cat before because she didn’t get along with anyone else except their family and me!

My cats growing up were very opposite, one super friendly and cuddly and the other much more playful and sometimes aggressive. Both of them needed medicine, so I am comfortable giving both oral and in-ear medications even if your cat isn’t the biggest fan.

Of course I will take care of all of the necessities, litter box, food, water, but also anything that will make your cat happier. Cuddles, playtime, brushing, treats, or even just chilling in the same space as them so they aren’t alone. And I will of course send photos/videos of your cat while you’re away!
