Just a cat person who doesn’t have a cat yet

I am Chrysa, I'm 26 and I am originally from Greece. I moved to Amsterdam in 2019 and I am working as a Software Engineer.  I had originally moved here for an internship but I fell in love with the city so I decided to stay, and the number one thing that made me love Amsterdam so much was the people of the city! Since I still move around a lot and I still rent wherever I go, it is hard for me to get my own cat yet, even though I am planning to, as soon as I settle down to my very own house! My love for cats is still there though, so I decided to do some pet sitting for any cat who would let me. I can work from home easily so I don’t mind cat sitting during work days as well.

I have never had my own cat yet, but my friends and family have had many cats and kittens as I was growing up, and I have spent quite some time cat sitting my friends' cats. I am patient and loving, and also very active so I definitely don't mind spending a weekend with a cat who likes to go on a walk! I also don't mind cuddling with them in bed or on the couch while I'm reading or watching a show if they're in the mood for a relaxing day. Since I am not a super experienced cat owner/sitter, I would prefer well behaved cats that I can manage, in order for them to be safe and feel comfortable. I would also like to meet the cat (and their owner) beforehand and try to spend some time with them to make sure we are all happy, comfortable and we all like each other's presence!
