Reliable Cat Friend in the Zeeheldenkwartier

Hi, I’m Irene! I live in the heart of the Zeeheldenkwartier with my sweet 16-year-old rescue cat, Nora.

My family and I have been taking care of cats for almost 20 years. As a true cat lover, I understand that every cat has their own personality. Some want playtime, others just want quiet company. Once we get to know each other, I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes your cat comfortable and happy. I'll take care of them and their palace while you're away.

I come from Barcelona and I'm fluent in both English and Dutch. Spanish is also an option of course! Or maybe is your cat used to another language, like French or German? You can help me learn the key words so that your cat feels like home :)

Thanks to Cat in a Flat I've got in touch with great cat sitters with whom I'm still in touch to this day. I've had a great experience myself, and I hope that you have the same with me.

Caring for Nora has given me plenty of hands-on experience with senior kitties and cats with special needs. I know how important is to be consistent with her medication and a bunch of creative ways to camouflage her medicine in her food ;)

I offer loving and reliable cat care right here in our neighborhood. I can visit your home to feed your cat, refresh their water, clean the litter tray, give medication if needed, and spend quality time with them. Whatever happens, I live very close by.

Thanks to my experience in cat shelters, I’m also comfortable caring for both energetic and shy cats. I’ll always respect their boundaries while making sure they feel safe and cared for. You’ll receive daily updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy at home
