Mature, experienced cat and house sitter

My name is Sandy and I am a 42 year-old cat-loving Canadian/Amsterdammer.

I've been obsessed with cats since I was a child. Devon Rex cats have always been members of my family home and I was a devoted cat-butler to a Birman named George for many years here before he passed away. George had health issues so I'm experienced in administering medication and can identify some symptoms of illness. I've cat and house-sat before and can provide references upon request.

Sitters on Cat in a Flat helped me care for my cat; George, and enabled me to travel without worry. I'd like to offer the same to others, including taking in the mail, watering plants, feeding fish, sending updates and doing anything else that needs attention.

I love being around cats and have a way of adoring them while respecting their boundaries. I like to get to know what each cat (dis)likes and their preferred ways of interacting. I'm not working right now so I can spend quality time with your pet(s.)

I live in Amsterdam Oost and am happy to visit once or twice a day within 2 km of my home.
