Over Mij

Catsitting Couple

Hello! We are Raquel and Alberto. Raquel works as a researcher in Artificial Intelligence, and Alberto works in IT. We live together in Amsterdam, and for 15 years we were proud cat-parents of our lovely (but also quite bossy!) cat Lois.

We are now looking forward to meet other cats by helping other cat-parents when they go on holidays, or simply want to have a weekend out without having to worry about their furry friend. We are happy to come visit your cat (or cats), feed them, play with them, cuddle them, or let them sleep, whatever they feel like. We will send you pictures so that you can see them and feel relaxed about them!

We both work from home most of the time, so we have a lot of flexibility for visiting your cats (also since it's two of us!).

It could be useful to know that we also have experience taking care of a cat with health issues: our cat Lois had chronic kidney disease during the last period of her life. She needed daily fluids, which we administered ourselves with subcutaneous injections. She also needed pills, and she had quite a character, so we are quite prepared to take care of angry cats as well!

And by the way, we like all animals so we are also glad to take care of other animal friends you have at home. And we would of course water the plants if you like.

    Raquel and Alberto are the absolute best. Great communication, lots of fun updates and they once again took amazing care of my boys. They really take the time to give each cat the kind of attention they love, whether that is brushing, cuddles, playing with their fave toys or snack games. Cannot recommend them enough!

    I am so greateful for Alberto & Raquel! In every visit, they dedicate a lot of time to play with my cat and give him the cuddles he is needing. When I get back home, I always find my cat very at ease and relaxed.

    This was the second time Alberto and Raquel looked after my boys and they were absolutely amazing again. Fun updates with lots of photos, great communication and most importantly the boys are big fans and were very well taken care of. Highly recommend booking with them!

They are very responsible, kind, lovable people and made us feel very peaceful by sending photos of the cats every day and giving constant status.     Second time that Raquel & Alberto took care of our two fur babies. They updated as every day and you could really see how comfortable they were with them. And our kitties are that quickly to open with people that they don't know. Thanks Raquel & Alberto till next time!!

    Raquel and Alberto were absolutely fantastic. They were super attentive to the individual quirks of my two boys, and very considerate of their (medical) issues. It was wonderful to get a lot of pictures and updates, and the boys clearly loved them and all the attention they were showered with. Would give 10 stars if I could and highly recommend!

    We are super happy with Raquel & Alberto they took very well of our fur babies sending us every day pictures. Our furries dont like new people that much but they won their little hearts very quickly. We are so happy knowing that they are going taking to take care of our babies again during summer holiday. Echt een aanrader ze zijn allebei super!
