Responsible and flexible with a heart full of love…and fur :)

I'm an expat and have been living in Leiden for more than 5 years. Prior to that, my little family and I have lived in Spain, the UK, Czechia and the Dominican Republic (from where we brought Barcelo, the handsome ginger visible in my profile picture ;] ).

I work as a creative freelancer so I have a lot of liberty in managing my schedule even during the work week.

I was brought up around animals and I have plenty of love and patience for them, as well as respect for their need for space, so don't be afraid to put even the moodiest furbaby under my care. I promise we'll get along!

I have experience looking after bigger breeds (my friend used to leave their Maine Coon duo in my care during holidays). I'm very cautious when it comes to dietary restrictions - had a chubby cat/dieting cat in the house and I can resist even the most desperate and manipulative kitty beggars :)

I’m available at various times of the day due to my flexible schedule, so I'll work around your (and your kitten's) preferences, and I'm happy to look in multiple times a day.

I'm not only giving your cats food and water, but I'll keep them entertained and trade some treats and cuddles (if they enjoy it). I can hang out next to less sociable cats, and every time I come over you can count on photos and videos so that you can be calm and not worry during your absence.

Obviously, (deep) cleaning of the litterbox isn't a problem. I'd be happy to brush their coat to make sure no knots happen on my watch :)

In case of a medical emergency, I have a car and have no problem driving your cat to your veterinary care provider.

If you need somebody to water your plants during your absence I'll be happy to do it as well :)
