Experienced Cat Owner

An experienced cat owner willing to look after your fur-babies while you are away.

I come from a cat family where at all times, everyone had at least 1 cat. Ironically men in my family are the most obsessed with cats, so it is not a female thing!

As an adult, I adopted a cat named Maeve, whom I adored, who sadly had to be put to sleep this year. Since I have adopted a rescue cat, Norma with past trauma, I am incredibly proud of how far she has come and is now a sweet cuddle cat.

I will look after your cats like my own!

Not only will I feed them or give them fresh water etc., but will keep an eye on their psychological needs! I will keep them company, play with them, brush them, if they are willing, smooth and stroke them! I think giving social contact is crucial as cats miss their owners and enjoy the company. They may not always like humans, but they certainly like 'their human'. Of course, it depends on the cat's temperament, but I will never overbear on a cat that prefers more solo time. I will try and make it as least disruptive as possible while you are away.

I will proactively send you photos of them (via Whatsapp), as personally, I know it is reassuring to see that they are doing well while you are away.

It goes without saying, and I will also do the tasks such as cleaning the litter tray , brushing, and finding their lost toys. I can also do tasks such as collecting mail, watering plants (please put this down in writing), open windows and curtains, but please remember my primary task is to look after your animals, which does cut into the time spent with your animals.

It is also helpful to summarise the needs of the animals when contacting me, so I can ensure I have the time available.
