My name is Barbara and I work at an international company in The Hague. I live in the center of the city, around the Westeinde with my 2 yo lovely cat, Juni who used to be a stray cat before becoming the King of my household. :) I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, fish and turtles, I have a dog trainer certificate, I rescued abandoned and injured animals, I hatched pigeon eggs, I was born with an enormous passion for nature. I joined this website because I know myself how hard it is to plan a holiday once you have pets at home... I truly want to help others, both animals to feel happy & loved while they are home alone and their owners to feel relaxed & worry-free, being able to enjoy a well deserved holiday.

Many times I was told to be an "animal whisperer" because I have a unique connection with animals. Neighbor cats come to my home chilling with me or when I am outdoor cats approach me with "miauw" rubbing themselves to me. We can communicate and understand each other. I also talk a lot to my cat, Bobi and he understands many words and commands, just like a dog. Next to their emotional needs, I also pay attention to the physical needs of a cat. Clean toilet, fresh water, clean environment, play time & exercise are very important. I have a broad experience with signs & symptoms of sick animals and also with administering medication if required. Additionally, I am very happy to look after indoor & outdoor plants, flowers.
