Hello wonderful cat-parents! I am a Canadian expat and cat-lover who moved here recently for my partner's work. I have lots of availability for part-time work and am looking forward to getting to know this city and Dutch culture better. I have over 15 years of experience caring for special needs cats as both a professional cat-sitter and as a volunteer with no-kill cat rescues. In Montreal I ran a foster home with the local animal sanctuary for 4 years, and rescued and rehabilitated 65 abandoned or feral cats in that time. I have experience with neonates, diabetic cats, post-surgical care, giving subcutaneous injections and of course giving pills. I am especially dedicated to working with behavioural issues in cats, as many of my fosters have required rehabilitation in order to make them suitable for life with their adoptive families. Outside of my experience with cats I have been entrusted with people's homes and children as a personal shopper, chef, nanny, and house-sitter. I love taking care of families, and will do whatever it takes to keep your fur-baby happy and healthy. That includes cleaning up pet messes and litter, administering medication, feeding, grooming, cuddling, and any specific play routines your cat requires. I can also offer insight and suggestions for any behavioural issues, such as adapting a new cat to the home, introducing cats to a new child or pet, furniture scratching and inappropriate elimination.
