Over: Olá! I'm a 28 years old Portuguese living in the city center of Utrecht. I live alone in a 70m2 apartment on the second floor. I love animals and I've been pet sitting dogs and cats since I was young. I am a very friendly person and been doing petsitting for a few years already. I have a dog and a cat in portugal, they are now a bit old. I have experience wroking with small dogs (5-8kg) but also big ones (20kg). I have experience with medical care and I'm happy to do drop-ins or to take care of your pet in my space. I do have a bike so traveling would be flexible for me. I usually go to the office 4 times per week and I work from 9 to 17:30, so basically that's the majority of the time I'm away from home. Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. During my time in Utrecht, I also worked for a local hondenuitlaat service, which gave me experience with a lot of common (and some less common) Dutch breeds.
