My name is Valeria, I am a 25yo Italian student and I am attending a Master course in European Studies at Maastricht University.

Animals are my life and I have a special, inexplicable feeling with them. I have always done volunteering activity, which has had a big impact on my life choices, coming myself from a complex social reality, which spurred me to do my best to help the community I had been living in since I was a child. Moreover, having this particular fondness for pets and considering their wellbeing as a primary issue, I focused my efforts especially on anti-straying policies, trying to give a constructive contribution to the cause. My previous experience includes a long-term collaboration with different local kennels in my region, where I learned how to deal with and take care of injured abandoned cats and dogs. I have also participated in a project abroad aimed at supporting the recovery and subsequent training of abused horses, having done horse-riding for many years.

My beloved cat, Cleopatra, was one of the cats I have rescued from abuses. Consequently, I am very good to deal with aggressive or nervous pets as long as mine at the beginning was in a state of shock. I am not afraid at all about pets' illnesses and I am able, thanks to my previous experiences with abandoned animals, to take care and cure them. Living abroad, I miss so much my diary contact with animals and this is the reason why I would like to be your pet-sitter! I think it would be the perfect link between mine and your necessities. I have a lot of experience behind me, but I am aware that every pet is different. This is why I will try to meet all your needs and try to do my best. My passwords are RESPECT and HAPPINESS; two things, I can guarantee, that will always be respected. I know that pets are part of the family and it is never easy to entrust a family's member to the care of some stranger, but I promise you that your pet will have all the attention and commitment possible on my part.
