Friendly and experienced cat sitter in Leiden!

Hi!

I'm Davide, I'm 24 years old and I come from Italy. I currently study archaeology at Leiden University and I'm almost at the end of my MA programme.

In my life I always lived with cats around (5 in total!), since I was 3 years old. In my home in Italy I grew up with Icaro, the cat in the profile picture, which was part of my family from 2003 until 2019. It was with him that I learnt all the basics of cat caring and I developed my passion for these beautiful creatures (they are my favourite animals indeed!). Meanwhile, me and my mother took care also of two stray cats which needed help for a brief period, Eolo and Lillo. Lately, we welcomed into our home a cute couple of brother and sister, Matisse and Minou, which we love so much!

Living in the Netherlands I miss my cats a lot, and I would be very happy to share the same love that I have for them with the kitties in Leiden!

I would be very happy to take care of your cats. In my lifetime of experience with different kinds of cats I learnt about their necessities and their behaviour. I perfectly know how to feed them, provide them with fresh water, clean their litterbox, play with them and provide them with all the love, care and attention that they need. I took my cats to the vet plenty of times, and I learnt how to administer basic medication. I am not afraid to handle them; I took care of cats that had an Elizabethan collar, or that needed pills treatment.
