Hi! I'm Aleks (they/them), and I've been living in and around Maastricht for nearly a decade. My wife and I have two cats, Funi (15) and Jara (5). Funi, our sweet Persian senior, and Jara, our playful little troublemaker, keep life full of love and laughter. I’ve always had a strong bond with animals and love adapting to each cat’s unique needs. I'd love to hear all about your cat’s favorite activities and quirks—whether it’s belly rubs, head taps, or nose strokes!

One important thing to note: I’m unable to take care of cats in households where people smoke inside.

Because of our own cats, I have extensive experience with both basic cat care and medical aftercare (such as administering medication, wound care, in etc.) following surgeries or vet visits.

BASIC CAT CARE -Emptying and cleaning the litter box -Combing and fur care -Interacting with your cat (strokes, belly rubs, playtime) -Providing snacks

MEDICAL AFTERCARE -Administering medication (pills, paste, insulin injections, etc.) -Advanced wound care (lotions, changing bandages, etc.) -Monitoring wound healing (optional: updates/photos can be taken upon arrival and sent via message)

PERSONAL CAT CARE -Continuing specific rituals in the absence of the owner (e.g., feeding times, or certain behaviors to ensure your cat's comfort)
