Cat lover in Utrecht

Hey,

I am Laura and I love animals in general, especially cats. I work in IT, previously lived abroad and in 2021 I moved to Utrecht. I grew up with animals and as a child, living at home, I constantly had cats (most of them adopted) and other pets.

For more than 7 years I have adopted an abandoned cat that was only 5 weeks old. She could barely walk. Living with her in an apartment, I realized that she is different from cats raised in a house with a big yard, used to the outdoors. Because of that, I became much more attached to her and vice-versa.

When I moved abroad, I took her with me, of course. Not having many friends here, I faced the difficulty of finding someone to take care of my cat when I'm gone. For this reason, but also because of my love for animals, I decided to offer my help to other people who are in the same situation.

Over time, I also took care of my friends' cats when they needed it. I am ready to help with any need your beloved cat has, just let me know your instructions. I can also administer medication/injections (depending on the context).

Every time I leave home I think of my cat as a kid because I love her so much. I know that any cat has its own personality and some may be defensive/scared around strangers so I will adapt. I can just keep her company, play or cuddle her.

In general, I can connect with new cats. I think animals feel whether you love them or not. I can help with collecting mail or watering the plants too.
