Experienced Cat Sitter and Cat Lover in Den Haag ❤️ (Before in Amsterdam)

Hi, Dear friend. 🐱❤️

I am Qiang, a student currently interning at Erasmus MC. I want to share with you a story about me and my kittens. I adopted a kitten myself three years ago. This cute kitten was my loyal companion when I lived independently. She likes to nap quietly during the day and comes full of energy at night, showing off her athleticism. When I adopted her, she was only two kilograms, but now she is a strong 10-pound adult cat. Our days were filled with warmth and laughter, she is my friend and family.

I’ve also cared for stray cats in my former neighborhood and helped friends look after their kittens during holidays. Each kitten has its unique personality, shaped by their background or breed, and these experiences have helped me understand how to bond with them.

Every kitten needs love and care. As volunteers, my friends and I provided food and water to stray cats daily. Initially, they were wary, but over time, they warmed up, even rolling over in trust. Watching them grow strong and healthy is a true joy. :)

✅ Feeding & Water: Provide balanced portions of dry/wet food and fresh water daily based on the cat’s dietary needs.

✅ Litter Cleaning: Maintain a clean litter box for a hygienic environment daily.

✅ Playtime & Engagement: Keep your cat entertained with toys and interaction to prevent loneliness, especially for some kittens who live alone. :)

✅ Medication: Administer and monitor any required medications accurately.

✅ Health Check: Regularly assess the cat’s health, including body, paws, and eyes, and observe stool and urine for any irregularities.

✅ Updates: Stay in touch with owners via photo/video updates or arrange video calls (if possible or needed) with their cats (2 times daily).

✅ Emergency Response: Act promptly in case of illness, injury, or other issues, coordinating with local vets if needed.

✅ Safety Check: Ensure windows, doors, and other areas are secure to keep the cat safe indoors.
