Cat sitter in Den Haag

Hi! I am Ana and I have always been passionate about animals. I have had about 7 cats and 15 dogs in my life, in different periods (back at home in Ecuador I have a very large garden). And I currently have 2 cats back there.

I have been living in the Netherlands since April 2018 and I really miss my pets back at home so I try my best to spend time with other pets and give them lots of love and care. I have been dog and cat sitter for several times so far, in The Netherlands, in United States, in Australia and in Ecuador. I have experience with animals that need special care and attention, such as elderly cats or in general pets requiring continuous medical treatments. I have worked in a couple of animal shelters as a volunteer and I have also worked in local governments creating policies for animals protection and regulation on responsible pet ownership. Furthermore, I constantly support NGOs whose objective is rescuing animals and trying to find them a home, developing sterilisation campaigns for cats and dogs in developing cities.

I live in The Hague and I find it totally energising to spend time with animals, especially with cats and playing with them.

A bit about my background: I am a lawyer (even though I always dreamed about becoming a vet :)), I did my masters degree in Australia and currently I live in The Netherlands, in The Hague.

I'd be very happy to spend time with your pets, either cats or dogs (also flexible in taking care of other animals), and always making sure they are safe and that they have a great time!

Additional requirements such as giving medication, putting eye drops or medical lotions to your pets are totally acceptable.

P.D.: I speak Spanish, English, French, Italian (these last two are a bit rusty by now) and currently I am learning Dutch. I'd be happy to work in any of those languages.
